Job summary

Trans-Care Ambulance in Indiana seeks an EMT-Paramedic to deliver the highest level of medical care and transportation within the EMS system. You will bring hospital-grade assessment and treatment to the patient’s side, ensuring uninterrupted care during transit and coordination with hospital staff.

Responsibilities include following the Standard of Care, adhering to physician orders, safeguarding patient privacy, and maintaining equipment and narcotics per state and company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana EMT-Paramedic certification required.
• Current CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and clean background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of medical care and transportation for EMS patients.
• Adhere to Standard of Care Protocols and physician orders during transport.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow Trans-Care policies and procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy and PHI per privacy policies and law.
• Check equipment, narcotics and medications before/after shifts and replace as needed.
• Mentor Paramedics and EMT-Basics as assigned and support team training.
