AdventHealth in Palm Coast, Florida is seeking a shift-based Paramedic for EMS transports. You will provide primary patient care, assess and intervene per EMS protocols, and educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
Responsibilities include equipment checks, inventory, safe vehicle operation, and thorough documentation. A valid PARA license, CDL or DL, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, CEVO/EVOC are required, with 1+ advanced life support transport experience preferred.

Shift: 12 hours per shift, Day Shift 0600-1800
Provides primary patient care activities on transports approved within scope of practice as defined by EMS Medical Director. Assesses, plans, implements intervention, and evaluates the appropriate level of patient care according to scope of practice, EMS Protocols, department policies and procedures. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions and treatments, as appropriate. Educates patients and family members about patient illnesses and clinical interventions. Inspects and maintains equipment to ensure the safety of transport team members, patients, and the general public. Monitors and anticipates needs for additional equipment and appropriately secures tools to meet patient care demands during transport. Operates emergency vehicles safely in a variety of weather and emergent conditions in accordance with established safety standards. Maintains the unit in a constant state of readiness and completes medication, supplies, and equipment inventories each shift, restocking as needed. Ensures patient and departmental documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance at all times. Other duties as assigned.
