Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to implement goal-directed nursing care for a defined group of patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to Nursing Supervisor and Physician or designee.
• Assess patients’ healthcare status based on exams, reports, and consultations.
• Educate patients and families regarding condition, treatment, discharge, and follow-up planning.
• Provide direct patient care and perform nursing skills per physician orders and hospital policy.
• Communicate with physicians and departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and legible medical records of care provided.
