Job summary

UNC Health Care in North Carolina seeks a Clinical Lead RN for the Critical Care Unit at Lenoir MEM. The role coordinates staff, materials and finances to improve patient outcomes and serves as a clinical role model in CCU.

The candidate will provide leadership, support, and participate in committees while also performing direct RN duties in the CCU. Requires 3–5 years CCU nursing and 1–3 years leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MS in Nursing or related field preferred, or obtained within three years.
• 3–5 years Critical Care Unit Nursing experience with 1–3 years of Leadership experience.
• Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina; certification in field of expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages staff, material and financial resources to achieve patient outcomes.
• Serves as a clinical role model using the nursing process to direct, provide and evaluate age-specific patient care.
• Provides clinical leadership and support to the department and participates in unit and organizational committees.
• Acts as a working manager able to perform RN duties in the CCU.
