Job summary

Trinity Health Livingston in Brighton MI seeks a BSN-educated RN with critical care experience to serve as House Administrator for 36 hours per week on the 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift.

There is an option to also maintain a bedside RN role for 24 additional hours per week in the inpatient unit. The House Administrator leads care planning, supervises nursing staff, collaborates with healthcare professionals, and ensures safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required.
• Licensure: RN license in Michigan required.
• Certification: BLS required.
• Experience: 3+ years in related field, including direct patient care, staff supervision, problem solving.
• Critical care: 1 year minimum in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing staff on the 7 p.m.–7 a.m. shift.
• Respond to codes, falls, emergencies, and workplace violence events.
• Monitor operations and use data to improve care delivery and flow.
• Allocate resources to ensure safe, quality patient care.
• Coordinate patient admissions, bed placement, and care management communication.
