Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Nurse Educator for MSICU/PCU to lead nursing staff development, orientation, and continuing education. The role partners with nursing leadership to align education with quality and patient care goals.

The Educator designs and delivers programs, mentors staff, and participates in clinical governance, ensuring regulatory training and residency initiatives are supported.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field with BSN.
• 3–4 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care or related specialty.
• 2–3 years of professional nursing experience with staff educator responsibilities.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in a specialty area.
• Membership in related professional organizations preferred.
• Designs, implements, and evaluates staff development programs.

Responsibilities

• Supports orientation and evaluation of nursing staff and coordinates unit-specific orientation plans.
• Facilitates clinical competency assessment and development support for unit preceptors.
• Develops and evaluates educational materials and programs, prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and cost.
• Collaborates on health care quality initiatives and evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
