Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care NP/PA to support the ICU/CCU/CVICU care teams. You will deliver direct care to critically ill adults, perform procedures, and contribute to education and research within a collaborative hospital setting.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, orders and interpretation of tests, and participation in multidisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives. Strong critical thinking and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program with active Georgia APRN license or PA license.
• Master's degree in Nursing or PA program graduate with state license required.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to critically ill adults under physician supervision.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, and document findings per hospital requirements.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and discuss results with patients and families.
• Manage airway and critical care procedures per standards.
• Insert and manage arterial/central lines and other invasive devices as directed.
• Collaborate on treatment plans and participate in education and research.
