Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Critical Care Mixed Acuity Unit. The role covers a wide range from young adult to geriatric patients, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour dayshift schedule and a sign-on bonus for experienced candidates.

The RN will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and participate in governance councils to support professional practice. Active KY license, BCLS, and ACLS are required within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN license.
• BCLS required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS required within six months for experienced staff and within one year for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment and reassessment of patients.
• Develop and implement care plans using evidence-based standards.
• Provide care aligned with Baptist Health Louisville policies and nursing mission.
• Evaluate patient response to treatment and adjust care accordingly.
• Apply critical thinking and collaborate with the inter-professional team.
