Job summary

Baptist Health in Louisville, KY is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Full Time 36-hour work week on a day shift in a Critical Care Mixed Acuity Unit. The unit provides care across aging populations with critical care and telemetry training. A sign-on bonus is available for experienced candidates.

The RN will implement nursing processes, coordinate with the care team, and promote professional development and quality patient outcomes according to Kentucky Nursing Laws and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky License required.
• BCLS must be completed within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS required within six months for experienced staff nurses and within one year for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process for each patient assigned, from infancy to geriatric.
• Collaborate with inter-professional team to improve patient outcomes.
• Contribute to professional practice environment and ongoing learning.

Education

Active Kentucky License

BCLS (within 90 days of employment)

ACLS within six months (experienced staff) or one year (new grads)
