Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an EMT-B, Paramedic, Emergency Dispatcher, or Emergency Department team member.
• Certified as an EMT-B or EMT-P in the State of Iowa, preferred.
• Excellent critical thinking skills required.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming requests for Mercy One, Pediatric Transport, and Neonatal transports.
• Coordinate responses by obtaining patient information and activating the appropriate team.
• Communicate patient information to transport teams and relay navigation/landing details to pilots.
