Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus—Glick is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. You will care for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA and Sepsis, perform EKG interpretation, central line care, and support respiratory therapies and bedside procedures.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with Ohio RN licensure and current BLS/ACLS. PRN experience and certifications are required upon hire; tuition reimbursement and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West.
• Perform EKG interpretation and central line care.
• Support respiratory therapies including BiPAP, High Flow Oxygen, Trach/Vents.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation and time management.
