Children’s National Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Float Pool, supporting the Cardiac ICU, Neonatal ICU, and Pediatric ICU in Washington, DC. You will maintain nursing regulatory requirements and complete orientation to ensure high-quality care across units.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in DC is required.
• ASN degree required; BSN preferred.
• Complete hospital and nursing orientation.
• Role model organizational skills and competency in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Float across Cardiac ICU, Neonatal ICU and PICU as needed.
• Escalate issues and use chain of command appropriately.
• Ensure safe handoffs using established processes.
• Demonstrate empathy, collaboration and professionalism with the care team.
