Job summary

MedCadre is seeking an experienced RN to provide high-quality care in a busy ICU environment. You will perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vitals and cardiac rhythms, and administer medications and therapies for critically ill patients across units.

You will manage ventilators, invasive lines, and drains, respond to emergencies, assist with procedures and resuscitation, and collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the broader care team.

Qualifications

• RN license currently active and in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ICU/critical care or step-down experience required; BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor critically ill patients across units.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, and hemodynamic status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments as ordered.
• Manage ventilators, invasive lines, drains, and other critical-care equipment.
• Recognize and respond promptly to patient deterioration and emergencies; assist with procedures and resuscitation.
• Adapt to staffing needs across ICU, step-down, and other critical-care areas.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow safety and infection-control standards.
