Job summary

Air Methods CBS is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care RN for the Snyder, TX base. You will deliver advanced care during helicopter transports, perform pre‑mission briefings, and ensure safety throughout the mission. Strong clinical judgment and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting are required.

Qualifications include a nursing degree, RN license, and 3+ years in critical care, with flight experience a plus. Comprehensive benefits and ongoing education support are provided.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred but not required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last five years or as required by state/local EMS regulations.
  • Pre-hospital experience preferred.
  • Flight experience is not required but is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality critical care during transport.
  • Assess illness or injury and prioritize care for safe transport.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies onboard aircraft and ensure cleanliness.
  • Participate in pre‑mission briefings and post‑mission debriefings.
  • Adhere to safety standards and report equipment failures.
