Job summary

Air Methods CBS seeks a Registered Nurse with 3+ years of critical care and flight-nurse experience to join our clinical flight teams in the CBS program. You will provide advanced in-flight care, triage, and coordination for patient transports, while maintaining documentation and safety protocols.

The role requires flexibility for 24-hour shifts, on-call rotations, and travel across bases. A valid RN license and flight-experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last 5 years.
• Pre-hospital experience preferred.
• Flight experience 1 year full-time required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care including assessment, triage and treatment per CBS Medical Director guidelines.
• Ensure safe transport of critical patients to appropriate facilities.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation.
• Participate in mission briefings/debriefings and support pre-mission liftoff activities.
• Maintain equipment readiness and aircraft safety during operations.
