Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Corporate Floating Flight Nurse to join our team of air transportation experts. You will assess and treat patients in critical care settings aboard aircraft, collaborating with air and ground crews to ensure safety and high-quality care.

You will maintain regulatory documentation and support physicians' orders throughout missions. The role features a 10 days on / 20 days off schedule, company-paid crew housing, and ongoing professional training to maintain

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification as required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP provided during New Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured patients and support physicians' orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment and ensure equipment and base checks meet safety standards.
• Collaborate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Record and communicate shift change information and maintain regulatory documentation.
