Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks a fellowship-trained Advanced Practice Provider to join the Critical Care Flex Team at Clements University Hospital. This role supports multiple high-acuity ICU environments, embedded within teams, with 2 to 5 month assignments and supervision by physicians.

Ideal candidates will have a CC APP fellowship or residency and experience across CVICU and other critical care services. Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts and scheduling flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing and accredited Advanced Practice Education Program completed.
• Texas Board of Nursing authorization aligned with practice area.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and documents comprehensive physical examinations.
• Develops and evaluates patient care plans with multidisciplinary teams.
• Performs clinical duties across multiple ICU service lines.
• Provides patient, family, and caregiver education and counseling.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and research activities.

Education

Master's degree in nursing

ARC-PA or Texas nursing authorization
