Job summary

adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum CVICU position in Hershey, PA. Inpatient critical care coverage with 3 13-hour shifts per week, 7am-8pm or 7pm-8am, ASAP through Mar 31, 2027, with travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided by the agency.

You will work under the intensivist, perform rounds, admissions, order entry, and post-operative care, with procedures including arterial/central lines, Swan-Ganz, IABP removal, and

Qualifications

• Board-certified in cardiovascular critical care (BC).
• Licensed to practice in PA.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVI CCU patients under guidance of Intensivist.
• Perform daily rounding, patient management, and order entry.
• Handle admissions and post-operative management.
• Perform procedures including arterial lines, central lines, Swan-Ganz catheter, and IABP removal.
• Manage VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant patients.
