General Healthcare Resources is seeking a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Hershey, PA. The role includes 3 shifts per week, 13-hour shifts, days or nights, with weekend and holiday coverage, starting ASAP and lasting about 236 days.

Requirements include current NP licensure/eligibility, at least 1 year in CC, board-certified with cardiac ICU experience, and ACLS/BLS. You will work under an Intensivist to manage complex patients and perform procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Active NP/PA licensure or eligibility in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 1 year of critical care experience.
• Board-certified AP provider with cardiac ICU experience.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• Experience with VA ECMO, VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily rounding and ongoing management of critically ill cardiac ICU patients.
• Assist with admissions, post-operative management, and order entry.
• Work under the guidance of an Intensivist to support coordinated patient care.
• Perform procedures as needed, including arterial lines, central lines, Swan Ganz catheter placement, and IABP removal.
• Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, team-based critical care environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams.
