Career Land Center, LLC in Independence, MO is hiring a Critical Care ICU Clinical Pharmacist for a regional medical center. You will join daily rounds as the ICU subject-matter expert, review drug therapy for interactions, dosing and allergies, and recommend cost-effective alternatives.

You will support antimicrobial stewardship, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, IV-to-PO conversion and renal dosing, and maintain controlled substance records.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ICU/critical care pharmacist experience
• Pharmacist with Medication Therapy Management (PHARM-MTM)
• Board certification in pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or a relevant BPS specialty, maintained

Responsibilities

About the role:

You will review drug therapy for interactions, allergies and dosing, and recommend cost-effective alternatives. You will take part in antimicrobial stewardship, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, pain management, IV-to-PO conversion and renal dosing. You will also maintain controlled substance records, precept students and residents, and serve on committees.

Requirements

• 1 year of ICU / critical care pharmacist experience
• BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school (PharmD preferred)
• Completion of a PGY1 pharmacy residency or fellowship, OR relevant acute care pharmacy experience
• Board certification in pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or a relevant BPS specialty, maintained
• Pharmacist with Medication Therapy Management (PHARM-MTM)
• PGY2 specialty residency highly preferred

Schedule

Primarily days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with every fourth weekend
