Qualifications

• Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field.
• Three or more years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and inspecting biomedical or medical equipment preferred.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and comprehend English; Massachusetts driver’s license in good standing is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect newly acquired medical devices for safety, functionality, and readiness.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, and electrical safety checks per manufacturer guidance.
• Coordinate with manufacturers or third-party services for complex repairs.
• Maintain equipment inventory, test equipment, and service records.
• Provide technical support during equipment-related incidents and safety reviews.
