Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in Aurora, CO, for the Medical ICU. Responsibilities include providing care for critically ill patients, managing their treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required for Instructor and Senior Instructor roles.
• Current or past faculty appointment in an academic medical institution preferred for Senior Instructor and above.
• Board certified or board eligible for acute care experience necessary.
• Eligible or licensed in Colorado (CO license required).

Responsibilities

• Provide daytime and nighttime coverage in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
• Inpatient evaluation and management of complex medical and pulmonary diseases.
• Collaborate with consulting services on patient management.

Skills

Excellent communication skills to interact with multiple medical providers and disciplines

Excellent bedside manner and physical exam skills

Education

Master's Degree

Doctor of Nursing or Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degree or equivalent experience
