The ideal candidate has acute care certification as NP or PA, with experience in critical care or hospital medicine, and a willingness to work day shifts with occasional night rotation.

Qualifications

• APP licensed, registered and nationally certified to provide care.
• Acute care certification required for NP or PA.
• Experience in critical care or hospital medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and manage patient care in ICU.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe therapies.
• Provide teaching and counseling to patients and families.
• Collaborate with intensivists and supervising physicians.
