Job summary

EMPACT-SPC is seeking a Crisis Therapist for Mesa, AZ, to deliver crisis counseling in-home, in-office, and in the community. You will respond to crisis calls, perform interventions, and coordinate care with internal and external partners, including first responders.

The role supports youth, adults, and families, with opportunities to train interns and staff. A Masters degree and AZ drivers license are required, and candidates must be 21 or older.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field required.
• Experience in Crisis Services, Outpatient Services or Community Outreach preferred.
• Flexibility to extend shifts and handle crisis work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis calls and provide crisis intervention for clients.
• Coordinate care with other departments and community partners.
• Provide supervision and training for interns and staff as assigned.
• Ensure accurate documentation of clinical work and safety planning.
• Work with Mesa Police Department and emergency responders in crisis settings.
