Job summary

TFI Family Services is seeking a Crisis Support Worker in Fort Scott, KS. This full-time role involves assisting children after hours, transporting to foster homes when needed, and supporting families during crises.

A company car, cell phone, and computer are provided, with rotating weekend on-call every four weeks. We require a High School diploma or equivalent; prior experience with children and families is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience serving children and families is preferred.
• Predictive Index assessment may be used in hiring.

Responsibilities

• Assist children after hours in crisis situations and transport to foster homes if needed.
• Support children in crisis, including hospital settings as required.
• Work across multiple area offices with rotating weekend on-call hours every four weeks.
• Provide compassionate, clear communication to families and caregivers.
