Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services in Massachusetts is seeking a Stabilization Specialist for the Community Behavioral Health Center to provide crisis support, stabilization services, and brief treatment planning for youth, families, and adults.

The role emphasizes recovery-oriented care, strong communication and problem-solving skills, scheduling and documenting services, and collaboration with an urgent care team. Hourly compensation starts at $23 with fee-for-service terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field.
• Experience working with adults, families, or children with mental illness or emotional disturbances is preferred.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis support and stabilization services.
• Deliver interventions in office, virtually, in the community, and in client residences.
• Support mobile crisis interventions, stabilization, planning and evaluations.
• Provide follow-up supports as part of short-term treatment planning.
• Assist with case management tasks including income, insurance, and scheduling of medical/psychiatric appointments.
• Complete documentation and insurance verification within established timeframes.
