Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services is seeking a Stabilization Specialist for our CBHC program. This temporary position supports crisis stabilization services for youth, families, and adults within the community, with a focus on recovery-oriented care and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The role involves diverse settings (office, virtual, in-community, and client homes) and requires a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field, MA driver’s license, and commitment to dependable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field.
• Experience with adults, families, or children with severe mental illness and/or emotional disturbances.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis support and stabilization services to clients and families.
• Deliver interventions in-office, virtually, in the community, and in clients' homes per needs and urgent care direction.
• Coordinate mobile crisis interventions, stabilization planning, and evaluations.
• Offer follow-up supports as part of short-term treatment planning and urgent care.
• Assist with case management tasks including income, insurance, and coordinating medical/psychiatric appointments.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and insurance verifications within required timeframes.
