Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services is seeking a dedicated Stabilization Specialist to join our Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC). You will provide crisis support and stabilization services to clients and families in the community, with a focus on recovery-oriented care and strong communication.

Shifts include evening and overnight hours and involve office, virtual, and community-based work. The role requires a Bachelor's in a Human Services field, experience with mental illness, and a MA

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field or equivalent.
Experience working with adults, families, or children with severe mental illness and/or emotional disturbances.
Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Provide crisis support and side-by-side interventions focusing on problem solving, skills training, and encouragement.
Deliver interventions in office, virtually, in the community, and in client residences as needed.
Support mobile crisis interventions, stabilization, planning and evaluations.
