Job summary
Ibis Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse for the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit to provide direct nursing care to adults with behavioral and mental health disorders, supervise LPNs and Behavioral Health Technicians, and coordinate orders within the nursing process.
This 24/7, 60-bed inpatient unit offers shift options with 12-hour schedules and evening/overnight differential, double weekend shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision, 401K, PTO, and career growth.
Qualifications
- Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree from an NLN approved program; Florida RN license required.
- Ability to present information to managers, patients, families and the public.
- Ability to solve problems, multitask, and use basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess physiological, psychosocial, and environmental needs of patients.
- Implement and evaluate the plan of care per nursing standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation by Behavioral Health Technicians and LPNs.
- Monitor staff and unit workflow; support continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
- Share professional knowledge per policies and procedures.
