Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to staff the Crisis Stabilization Unit. This 24/365, 28-bed unit provides psychiatric stabilization and detoxification, serving as a community-based alternative to hospitalization.

The role involves risk assessment, admissions, discharges, medication administration, unit management, and crisis interventions, with ongoing patient education and case coordination within a behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Active, unrestricted LPN/RN license in Georgia.
• Criminal background check clearance and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care through assessment, care planning and intervention.
• Monitor patients and document progress, administer medications and treatments.
• Maintain clinical records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
