Job summary

Care New England is seeking a part-time CSU Nurse in Providence to assess and evaluate client health data through interviews, observation and team input. The role emphasizes delivering individualized nursing care and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

The CSU Nurse administers medications, monitors labs, and supports clients with daily living tasks. Driving may be required; RI licensure and bilingual abilities are valued.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure required; Rhode Island/Nurse Licensure Compact.
• RN preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with psychotropic medications; team-oriented.
• Experience with addictions populations preferred.
• Experience with managed care populations and UR a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Position may require driving; valid driver's license, registration, current inspection and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze assessment data to formulate the basis of nursing care.
• Identify expected outcomes of care individualized to the client, aiming to improve health.
• Administer medications per prescriber’s orders and monitor lab results.
• Provide support to clients regarding daily living issues; conduct home visits as necessary.
• Collaborate with staff in providing care to clients.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with clients, staff and the public.
• Other duties may be assigned.
