Job summary

Elevate, Inc. is seeking a Mental Health Technician to provide community-based residential support to individuals working to stabilize and manage mental health and/or substance use challenges.

This position helps individuals navigate recovery and crisis stabilization through supportive skill development, group activities, and direct client care. This role offers opportunities to begin or grow a career in behavioral health and community-based care, with evening/night and weekend differential pay

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in adult care, mental health, substance use treatment, or human services preferred.
• A caring, patient, and person-centered approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges.
• Employment depends on completing pre-employment requirements (background screening, license verification, drug/TB testing).

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support and supervision to individuals receiving residential services.
• Assist individuals with developing and practicing daily living, coping, and recovery skills.
• Support crisis stabilization through compassionate engagement and structured activities.
• Facilitate and participate in therapeutic and skill-building groups.
• Complete required documentation related to client services.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
