Job summary

Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care in Newark is seeking a Mental Health Clinician III to join the Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center.

The incumbent provides comprehensive evaluation, assessment and therapeutic intervention to address psychological, emotional and social needs, develops and implements treatment plans, and conducts individual, group and family therapy with emphasis on coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mental health discipline is required.
• Active New Jersey licensure is required or as mandated by state law.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, assessment and therapeutic intervention.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Conduct individual, group and family therapy with clinical judgment.
• Perform case management and coordinate services with linkages, referrals and state/community systems.
• Document and ensure clinical records meet standards.
