Job summary

Brightli is seeking a Crisis Specialist I or II in Springfield, Missouri, to support individuals in crisis and help them navigate behavioral health needs. You will work through phone, face-to-face, and mobile crisis interventions, documenting all interactions and guiding clients to resources.

The role emphasizes adaptability, proactive engagement, and strong crisis intervention and counseling skills to make a meaningful difference for clients in crisis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in the Human Services field.
• Preferred: LMSW, LCSW, PLPC, LPC.
• CPR/First Aid and CPI certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone, face-to-face, and mobile crisis intervention as clinically appropriate and document all contacts on appropriate forms.
• Deliver individual, group, family, and practical counseling to meet client needs and treatment goals.
• Assess and facilitate admission to the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit and evaluate clients for discharge based on safety.
• Consult with law enforcement and hospital emergency rooms regarding alternatives for client disposition.
• Participate in staff development activities and contribute to team growth.
• Provide rapid aid in emotional crisis situations through crisis intervention services.
• Attend scheduled conference calls, webinars, meetings, and supervision sessions.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Crisis Services or designee.
