Job summary

River Edge Behavioral Health Center in Macon, GA, is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and deliver engaging learning initiatives that support our team and leaders across the footprint.

The role covers program design, development, implementation, and evaluation, reporting to the Crisis Service Program Manager, with responsibilities including onboarding and maintaining training records in compliance with DBHDD standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Minimum of two years of training experience.
• Familiarity with Crisis Services and IDD support needs.
• Four years of experience in healthcare documentation and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Certifications in Safety Care, First Aid/CPR, and Positive Behavior Supports (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Track and report learning data using the LMS to ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement employee engagement strategies and coordinate events.
• Organize training logistics and schedules; monitor attendance and report outcomes.
