Qualifications

• Master's degree in social service field (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services) or related field.
• Must hold Associate License or Full License in LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Experience in mental health, behavioral health, or a crisis stabilization setting.
• Experience working with children.
• Experience with trauma-informed care.
• Knowledge of care for chronically mentally ill populations.
• Pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments for incoming crisis clients.
• Complete Behavioral Health Assessments (BHA).
• Conduct comprehensive safety assessments.
• Assess clients for suicide and self-harm risk.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Facilitate therapeutic and educational groups
