Job summary

The DuPage County Health Department is seeking a Crisis Services Technician to join the DuPage Crisis Recovery Center in Wheaton. The role supports 24/7 crisis mental health services for residents in psychiatric crisis and assists with safety, transport, and environmental duties.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid State of Illinois Driver's license.
• New employees attend paid on-site HR orientation.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Supports maintenance of a safe, therapeutic environment in crisis programs.
• Facilitates client safety and quality care through rounds and belongings checks.
• Assists with client medication observation.
• Maintains environmental standards in crisis programming.
• Completes grocery shopping and supply inventories.
• May transport clients in a county vehicle.
