The Crisis Recovery Center (CRC) is the critical next step in DuPage County Health Department’s decades-long journey to build the infrastructure needed to support a best-in-class behavioral health system and ensures all DuPage County residents will have “someone to contact, someone to respond, and a safe place to get help” when experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. The CRC will help residents de-escalate, stabilize, and connect to community resources catered to their individual mental health and substance use treatment needs. The building design and operations will ensure individuals and their families feel welcome, respected, and secure throughout every step of their care. The CRC serves as an alternative to hospital emergency departments and simplifies access to crisis care for all individuals, families, and first responders. In this on-call position, you will be required to work at least 3 shifts per month. This specific on call position MUST have OVERNIGHT availability
Bachelor's degree candidates will be considered; the on-call rate for this position is as follows:
Bachelor's degreed candidates: $24 an hour
Master's degreed candidates: $28 an hour
Candidates for consideration require either a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology.
Social Work or related field and two years of experience working with chronically mentally ill population; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Attendance at our paid HR new hire orientation from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm is required.
