Job summary

Emergence Health Network is seeking an Extended Observation Unit (EOU) Program Manager in El Paso, TX to provide administrative oversight of non-medical staff and oversee crisis services operations 24/7. This exempt role ensures program implementation, supervision, and compliance with policies.

You will lead staff, coordinate with Crisis Hotline and external partners, monitor performance, training, and regulatory audits, and drive quality care within the EHN trauma-informed framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Sciences or related behavioral field.
• Three years of direct casework or crisis hotline experience with one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with trauma-informed services and evidence-based therapies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff and conducts performance appraisals.
• Coordinates with Crisis Hotline, Crisis Intervention Team, and related units to ensure smooth patient transitions.
• Plans work schedules, maintains standards, and reviews progress; provides guidance as needed.
• Provides administrative and clinical supervision to program staff for day-to-day crisis services.
• Interacts with external agencies; trains community, law enforcement on mental health issues.
• Ensures monthly regulatory documentation and conducts audits; plans improvements as needed.
• Ensures facility safety, regulatory compliance, and maintenance.
• Assists with data collection to observe call trends and service improvements.
• Maintains compliance with Joint Commission, Texas HHSC, and related training requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
