Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health seeks a Behavioral Health Technician I to provide direct, supportive care in residential and withdrawal management settings. You will monitor vital signs, assist with intake/discharge, and help ensure a safe, therapeutic environment under supervision.

You will collaborate with treatment teams, document client progress, and participate in group activities and transport as needed. Strong communication and crisis response skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of confidentiality laws governing behavioral health treatment.
• Clear verbal and written communication with clients, families, and team.
• Ability to document client/patient behavior and treatment notes.
• Ability to respond to crises and implement safety plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and supportive care to clients in residential/Withdrawal management settings.
• Monitor vital signs and document medical symptoms per policy.
• Oversee medication administration with nursing staff and document adherence.
• Assist with admissions, supervision, and daily activities; transport as needed.
