Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Saint Peters, MO is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct and supportive care. The role involves monitoring daily activities, intervening during crises, educating clients, and transporting clients as needed within a structured program.

You will work with the treatment team to understand and implement the client’s treatment plan, document behaviors, and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of responsible employment.
• Experience in Human Services or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Active Participation: Participate as an integral member of the treatment team, assisting in identifying client strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences.
• Program Compliance: Ensure adherence to all program expectations and rules, reporting behaviors to supervisors for effective therapeutic interventions.
• Medication Policies: Adhere to all medication policies and collaborate with trained nursing staff to guarantee compliance.
• Admission/Orientation Assistance: Assist in admission/orientation, including obtaining vital signs and safety checks, collecting urine/lab specimens.
• Client Education and Support: Assist and educate clients/patients in performing daily activities as needed.
• Transportation Assistance: Provide transportation support for clients/patients as required.
