Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess consumers in crisis, document triage and health data, and participate in a multidisciplinary team. You will educate families about psychiatric diagnoses, treatments, and medications while supporting de-escalation and safety protocols.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing degree, an unrestricted RN license, BLS, and 3+ years in psychiatric/behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Nursing program.
• Unrestricted active RN license through State Board of Nursing.
• Ability to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Must meet vaccination policy or exemption process.
• Complete credentialing (NPI, Medallion, Medicare) within required time.
• Physical ability to perform interventions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Completes detailed Nursing Assessments with Triage and Behavioral Health, documents pertinent information, administers medications as prescribed.
• Plans individual treatment as part of Multidisciplinary Clinical team.
• Educates on Psychiatric diagnosis, treatment options, psychopharmacology, and health literacy.
• Intervenes with verbal strategies to de-escalate potentially dangerous situations.
• Adheres to Seclusion/Restraint standards and documents debriefings.
• Transcribes orders, administers meds, performs chart checks, and wound care as required.
• Discharges and coordinates with other facilities as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
