Acenda, Inc. is seeking an Emergency Screener in Cape May Court House, NJ to respond to police referrals, de-escalate crises, and evaluate the need for hospitalization. The role includes on-call nights/weekends and potential SWAT involvement in Gloucester County.

Required qualifications include a Screener Certification, mental-health degrees (master’s preferred), a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work in a crisis setting. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in the mental-health-related field plus 1 year of relevant experience in a psychiatric setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in the mental-health-related field plus 3 years post-bachelors experience in the mental health field, one in a crisis setting.
• A Screener Certification is required; may be in progress toward certification for Crisis Negotiation.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to police-initiated outreach for mental and behavioral health calls involving law enforcement.
