Job summary

Davis Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking day shift Psych Techs to support crisis recovery and Davis County Receiving Center operations in Layton, Utah. Front-line staff will engage clients, manage milieu, de-escalate crises, and coordinate with clinical teams to meet treatment objectives.

Part-time roles include on-call shifts with a $20 per diem and swing/graveyard shift differentials. Bi-lingual English/Spanish favored; Spanish stipend available after assessment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements include passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Previous experience as a psych tech or in social work is strongly preferred.
• Microsoft Word and Outlook proficiency; typing 35–40 wpm preferred.
• DBH uses an electronic medical records system; computer literacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients individually and maintain a positive recovery environment.
• Manage unit milieu and supervise clients; de-escalate crises.
• Assist professional staff in group activities and treatment objectives.
• Record behaviors and activities; liaise with family and staff.
• Transport clients using a 15-passenger van when needed.
