Job summary

World Central Kitchen seeks a seasoned Community Outreach Manager to lead frontline operations, rapidly build field teams and deliver food aid in disaster-affected communities. You will drive rapid assessment, team formation, and culturally competent outreach, reporting to the Response Director during activations.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in management within fast-paced environments, with strong leadership, crisis navigation, and excellent English communication;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of management experience in fast-paced environments.
• Experience leading, training and coaching large teams in challenging settings.
• Fluency in English; additional languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline community outreach and engagement operations during activations.
• Recruit, train and manage field teams and Corps members on activation.
• Provide regular updates to the Response Director on activation progress and needs.
• Collaborate with all departments to support activation needs and field operations.
• Ensure handovers between Activation Managers and timely After-Action reporting.
