World Central Kitchen, Inc. seeks a Community Outreach Manager to lead frontline operations, rapidly build field teams, and ensure swift delivery of food aid to disaster-affected communities.

The role reports to the Response Director during activation and the Unit Director off activation. The ideal candidate excels at building trust in crisis zones, coordinating cross-functional teams, and translating information into actionable steps under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred, or 5+ years in management roles.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages desirable (Spanish, French, Portuguese).
• Experience leading large teams in fast-paced, ever-changing environments.
• Willingness to travel and spend up to 70% of time in the field.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and motivate diverse community outreach teams during activations.
• Respond within four hours to a disaster area and manage field operations.
• Design adaptable field response strategies for high-stress environments.
• Coordinate budgeting and logistics with finance and procurement.
• Represent WCK to communities, partners, and media on the ground.
