Interim, Inc. is seeking a Counselor II (ACT) in Salinas, CA to provide crisis care, case management and rehab activities for adults with serious mental illness. The role involves counseling, family engagement, and linking clients to social and health services across multiple sites.

The position requires bilingual Spanish skills, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and must have a California driver’s license. Travel to several program locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish required to serve diverse clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in mental health or related field with 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis care, case management and rehab activities to adults with serious mental illness.
• Deliver counseling, skills building, referrals and family engagement.
• Maintain client records accurately and securely in electronic systems.
• Work at multiple locations in Salinas, Marina, Monterey and South County.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses and other staff to coordinate services.
• Travel as needed to meet program requirements and client needs.
