Qualifikationen

• Registration with DHCS recognized such as CCAPP, CADTP.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of counseling experience.
• First Aid certification within 30 days.
• CPR certification within 30 days.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Experience with substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and barriers to self-sufficiency.
• Experience providing individual and group counseling.
• Experience with clinical documentation (treatment plans, progress notes).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Aufgaben

• Carry a caseload and conduct weekly individual counseling sessions.
• Provide clinical support and evidence-based interventions.
• Link clients to internal and external resources and follow up.
• Facilitate group counseling, community meetings, and classes on treatment topics.
• Perform crisis intervention and communicate with treatment team.
• Plan and facilitate client celebrations and events.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and updates in HIPAA/Drug Medi-Cal compliance systems.
• Maintain accurate records by data entry into electronic systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
