Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor - Bilingual in City of Industry, CA. You'll work in a 24/7 urgent care setting providing counseling and treatment planning with a focus on recovery, while meeting QMHP education tracks.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the QMHP tracks: associated degree with direct service experience, or a bachelor’s in a mental health field with direct service experience, or a master’s in a mental health field with direct service experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop client treatment plans with clients and treatment team.
• Provide group and individual counseling and supportive services.
• Facilitate education/awareness workshops related to recovery.
• Refer clients as needed and document in records in a timely manner.
• Assist clients in recovery and exit planning; provide follow-up services as needed.
