Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to join our Crisis Stabilization Unity (CSU). The NP will conduct psychiatric assessments, medication evaluations, and medication management for CSU patients in an in-person daytime role.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in Nursing with Prescriptive Authority, current Colorado NP license, DEA, and at least two years of psychiatric NP experience, and is dedicated to collaborative, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with Prescriptive Authority.
• Active Colorado NP license before providing any client services.
• DEA license valid and current.
• Current knowledge of pharmacology and ability to administer medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychiatric services including evaluations, treatment planning and treatment of patients.
• Ensure clinicians receive appropriate clinical supervision as necessary.
• Work with multidisciplinary staff to evaluate and triage according to acuity.
• Share 24-hour on-call responsibilities for various care settings.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
